Reebop

Materials: Marsh mellows
Gum Drops
Pipe cleaners
Toothpicks
Googly eyes
Pink and blue papers

Steps: First we cut up all the tiny stripes of paper and then turned them upside down. Next we paired the blue ones with the pink ones to know what the genes were for each of our reebops. Then we used the paper to make our reebops based on what our pairs said. Based on what the paper said determined what our 2 reebops would look like. Using that we then made our reebops and took pictures of what they looked like.

We took 3 marshmallows and put them on a toothpick to make the body. Then we put another marshmallow on the front of the three to make the head. We then put gumdrops on it for the nose and the humps on the back. After that we put 2 Googly eyes for the eyes obviously. Next we put pipe cleaners on for the hair and the curly tail. Next we put pipe cleaners for the legs also so that they would be able to stand up.

Kahoot Reflection

Kahoot Reflection

1. Do you like doing a Kahoot test over a written test? Why or why not?
Yes, I like doing a Kahoot test more than a written test because it is more fun and you get to compete against the class to see who can be the fastest.
2. What about taking an interactive test is helpful to you?
Taking an interactive test is helpful because it is easier than to take a paper/written test.\
3. What about taking an interactive test is hard for you?
It is a little bit harder because you being timed and even though it is a long amount it can get pressuring.
4. What did you like about the particular Kahoot you took today?
I liked how there were videos and pictures and that every question was multiple choice.
5. Would you have rather taken a written test?
No, because this is more fun than written tests.
6. What would rate Kahoot from 1-10.. and why?
I would give Kahoot an 8 because it is more fun but you can easily click the wrong answer and you cant change it. Also because it is timed and you can have electronic problems.
7. Was 30 seconds enough time for you to answer your question?
Some answers I could have used more time because I had to think about longer. For almost all the questions though it was enough time.
8. How do you think Kahoot enhances student learning?
It makes you pay attention more because you get to compete with your classmates and it is interactive.

Trailer for Disney movie Earth

I thought that this video was very interesting. I learned a lot of new facts about many animals that I didn't know before. I liked watching the daily life of all these animals. I didn't like though was watching the animals get killed. Even though it is the circle of life it is still sad to see all of the animals kill each other. I would definitely recommend this movie to people that like watching nature videos or even people that like animals. This was a very fun movie to watch and learn about all the animals and how they interact with each other.

North Pole Bureau Of Investigations: Case of the Christmas Cookie Mystery

North Pole Bureau Of Investigations: Case of the Christmas Cookie Mystery

What we had to find out when doing this lab is what mixtures were right for the recipe. The first thing that we had to do was to get all of the 6 white powders and 4 tests. We put each of the powders into different little trays. Then we added 4 to 5 drops of water to the first pile. Then 4 to 5 drops of vinegar to the second pile. Next add 4 to 5 drops of iodine to the third pile. Lastly for the heat test place a small amount of powder on a clean piece of aluminum foil. Make the foil into a cup or bowl like shape and hold it with tongs or tweezers. Hold a candle or lighter or match underneath the bowl or cup. After you record your observations for each file and did each test then you should be able to figure out what mixture was the correct one. My answer ended up being sample B, 1, 2, 3, 5.
